Kucera Takes a Tumble

WHEN BOB TOOK ON POLITICS he did it with his customary thoroughness and attention to detail. It was an interesting political time as the incumbent Government of Premier Richard Court was suffering a few woes and it looked as though the Labor Party might even stand a chance. Particularly if it got the right mix of high profile candidates in the marginal seats that were winnable. In an analysis published after the election by the Australian Parliament, called Current Issues Brief, Mr Glenn Worthington saw that the election was one in which victory to either of the major parties would constitute an impressive achievement.
